Our happiness week: a complete donation success

Our lucky week is over again this year and our entire team couldn't be happier about the incredible support from our community! Thanks to wonderful customers like you. We are incredibly happy to be able to support our selected organizations and their projects.

The organizations of our Happiness Week at a glance

Because it is important to us that the environment, climate, people and animals are doing well, this year we have selected charitable organizations that do exactly that. A few months ago, we conducted a survey to find out what would be important to our community. We listened and selected four projects. We will donate to these organizations with your order - and this time you can decide for yourself who we can donate to directly after your order process.

A SOLAR SYSTEM FOR OUR SCHOOL IN MALAWI

Malawi has been a project close to our hearts right from the start. Our school and a well are now up and running and the 600 or so children already have school materials that they can use as soon as lessons start again. Helping people to help themselves is the most meaningful way for us medium to tackle social inequalities and challenges in the long term. We now want to provide light in the classrooms with a solar system. Because it gets dark there after 6 pm. With more light, the classrooms can still be used for evening classes, exam preparation, adult literacy courses and parent meetings. Supplying schools in remote areas with electricity is therefore literally a real highlight and solar systems are a sensible investment. The solar system for our school costs €6,200.

A LGBTQIA+ COVID-19 EMERGENCY FUND WITH ALL OUT

All Out is a global movement for love and equality. The non-profit organization mobilizes people to stand up for a world where no one has to sacrifice family, freedom, safety or dignity to be themselves and love the person of their choice. All Out has set up a special Covid-19 emergency fund to support those in the LGBTQIA+ community in Africa and Latin America who are acutely affected by the pandemic. With as little as €10, an LGBTQIA+ person affected by food insecurity or hunger due to Covid-19 lockdowns can be provided with basic food for a week.

REMOVING MARINE LITTER WITH ONE EARTH - ONE OCEAN E.V.

The non-profit organization One Earth - One Ocean e.V. has set itself the task of actively helping to shape a clean environment. With the - in our opinion - great concept of "maritime waste collection", they free waters worldwide from waste such as plastic, oil, ghost nets and chemicals. With your selection for this project, we want to ensure that the ship "SeeKuh" can fish out as much garbage and ghost nets as possible in the Baltic Sea. One day of waste recovery costs 800 euros.

SUPPORT RESEARCH WITH ÄRZTE GEGEN TIERVERSUCHE E.V.

The association Ärzte gegen Tierversuche e.V. has been campaigning for animal-free medicine and cosmetics since 1979. The aim of the organization is the abolition of all animal testing and thus an ethically justifiable medicine and science that achieves relevant results through modern, animal-free testing methods. Our products have always been vegan and animal-free according to the PETA standard and have now also been officially certified by PETA. However, this is not enough for us, which is why we have been supporting the non-profit association Ärzte gegen Tierversuche e.V. with our sponsoring membership since 2018. With your selection, we want to donate to the Herbert Stiller Prize, which was launched two years ago. With prize money totaling 20,000 euros, the award specifically supports research projects that work without animal testing in accordance with PETA standards.
