ACTIVE INGREDIENT NIACINAMIDE

For a balanced, even complexion.

It is not for nothing that Niacinamide is currently one of the most popular active ingredients on the cosmetics market. Niacinamide regulates sebum production, counteracts inflammation and reduces redness. The best thing about this active ingredient is that all skin types can benefit from it, especially oily, blemished and combination skin skin. We explain exactly how much power Niacinamide contains in detail here.

WHAT IS NIACINAMIDE?

Niacinamide is a substance found in all human cells and is therefore the active and water-soluble form of vitamin B3. Niacin, the collective term for nicotinic acid and nicotinamide, is produced by the human body in the liver from the essential amino acid tryptophan. As nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide NAD and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate NADP, it acts as an antioxidant in a number of enzymatic reactions or, in its reduced form NADH and NADPH, as a redox coenzyme. As an energy building block, Niacinamide regulates cell metabolism and cell renewal. Among other things, it is responsible for the metabolism of proteins, fats and carbohydrates and thus ensures the recovery of skin, muscles, nerves and DNA.
