oily skin - Causes, care and tips
SKIN TYPE

oily skin wants balancing care. It tends to produce more sebum and sweat. This is the cause of a shiny face and enlarged pores. Blackheads often form, which can also develop into acne if you are predisposed to it. To emphasize the positive characteristics of oily skin: it is very resistant and better protected against external influences than other skin types.

TIPS FOR YOUR OILY SKIN
1st tip: Cleanse your skin gently.
Regular but gentle cleanser cleansing is the be-all and end-all for you. This is because bacteria feel particularly at home in excess sebum and are a trigger for impurities. It is therefore best to cleanse your oily skin gently, for example with our Cleansing Gel.
2nd tip: Your magic formula: Oil against oil.
According to the basic homeopathic principle of "healing like with like", simply add a few drops Argan Oil or Squalane to an aloe vera gel , for example. This reduces the cause of oily skin, excess sebum.
3rd tip: exfoliate your skin with Salicylic Acid.
Salicylic Acid penetrates deeply. It helps to exfoliate and renew the outer layer of skin cells and opens the pores before impurities appear. As oily skin is very resistant, you can use it up to three times a week. BHA peeling up to three times a week.
4th tip: Retinal for oily skin.
The vitamin retinal noticeably regulates sebum production and counteracts clogged pores, inflammation and spots. The retinal we use is particularly gentle on your skin - with a comprehensive effect.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY KNOW ABOUT OILY SKIN
HOW DO YOU CARE FOR YOUR oily skin?
oily skin is observed in around 20-30% of adolescents from puberty onwards, as the sebaceous glands only develop their full function as a result of hormones. However, this often regulates itself again in the course of life. It is important for you to recognize whether your skin is rather dehydrated and oily or sufficiently moisturized. If it often feels dry and tight, but a lot of sebum still leaves a shiny film every day, this is a sign of a dehydrated skin condition.
What oily skin needs is balancing care. This will bring your skin back into balance and regulate sebum production. For a slightly richer feeling, our skin-friendly Retinal cream is perfect for you. It refines your skin texture and supports regeneration. For your resistant skin, however, other Actives such as Niacinamide in our serum are also ideal supporters.
LEARN MORE ABOUT YOUR SKIN CONDITION.
Is your skin actually rather oily, but has it been more sensitive than usual recently? External circumstances, lifestyle and your diet can be reasons why your skin is not only oily, but also very sensitive or particularly blemished, for example. Each skin type is associated with a skin condition. For example, your oily skin may also have a mature, blemished, sensitive or even dehydrated skin condition. However, oily skin is most commonly associated with blemished skin.
