SKIN TYPE COMBINATION SKIN

WHAT IS COMBINATION SKIN?

Your skin is actually a mixture of two skin types. If we assume balanced skin, combination skin, as its name suggests, consists of a combination. It is usually the case that the T-zone tends to have seborrhea, i.e. an overproduction of sebum. In contrast, too little sebum is produced on the cheeks and sometimes also around the eyes. This means that your skin dries out there in particular. You can find out how to give your combination skin the right care on this page.

TIPS FOR YOUR COMBINATION SKIN

1st tip: cleanse your skin gently.

Do not use aggressive cleaning products. A mild cleanser like ours Cleansing Gel can be used for both areas of your skin. Complete your routine 1-2 evenings a week with the BHA peeling.

2nd tip: Treat oily and dry areas differently.

A little extra effort pays off here. Depending on how different your two skin conditions are, you should treat the oily T-zone differently to the dry cheeks. Jojoba Oil for example, is suitable for both.

3rd tip: Avoid heavy creams.

Make sure you use products that are as light as possible, such as our aloe vera gel. To ensure that your cheek area gets enough lipids, also treat this area with a richer cream like the Retinol cream.

4th tip: Use sufficient UV protection.

No matter how you react to the sun, UV protection is essential for your facial skin. Especially in summer, but also in winter, UV rays reach your skin. It is therefore best to use an SPF of at least 30, as with our sun cream.
