- 6 reasons for care with ampoules
1. what is special about ampoules?
What exactly is the secret of these little bottles? Unlike other skincare products, skincare and Actives products are packaged in individual dosages.
This gives them a pure and concentrated form, far higher than in cream or gel jars. Each ampoule contains enough care for one application, allowing you to benefit from a significantly higher level of effectiveness.
Thanks to the individual portioning in glass ampoules, the contents are packaged particularly hygienically and protected from contamination and air contact. This means that Actives does not require emulsifiers or preservatives and Treat is in a pure, skin-friendly form. Thanks to the protection from contamination and air contact, the Concentrate also retains its full effectiveness and does not require any stabilizers that are harmful to the skin or the environment.
In short: ampoules Treat act like a protective cover and enable the application of sensitive but very effective care substances in concentrated form.
2. when should they be used?
ampoules you are probably more familiar with from a visit to the doctor. Isn't the application then also intended more for clinical skin symptoms and problems? Quite the opposite: ampoules can provide care for different skin needs. Thanks to the targeted formulation of Actives and their selected combination, they are geared towards different goals. In the next part, I will explain exactly what our ampoules can do for your skin and who they are particularly suitable for.
ampoules are a good addition to your existing skincare routine. If you already use a serum in your routine, you can simply replace this step with an ampoule on one to three evenings. What makes our antioxidants ampoules so special?
Our antioxidants ampoules are packed with pure active ingredients and give your skin an extra portion of care, more protection and a great glow. Our new trend ingredient: What is Astaxanthin and how does it work?
The new trend ingredient Astaxanthin gives the oil phase of our ampoules its characteristic reddish color. This antioxidant from the carotenoid group is obtained in Austria from unicellular green algae (Haematococcus pluvialis). The algae change color from green to red as soon as they develop their full active ingredient power. For these plants, this color change is a natural protective mechanism to react to stress and changes in the environment, such as UV radiation or a change in the CO2 content of the water. In this exceptional situation, they stop all other metabolic processes and focus on enriching themselves with red Astaxanthin. The substance helps the algae to survive for many weeks without water and food.
And this is precisely the effect that Astaxanthin has on our skin: it protects and strengthens our cell membrane, acts anti-inflammatory and regenerates sun-damaged skin in particular. The antioxidant effect of Astaxanthin is even up to 6,000 times stronger than that of Vitamin C, making it the ideal protector for your skin. Since it has both water-loving, i.e. hydrophilic, components and fat-loving, i.e. lipophilic, components, Astaxanthin can be stored in the entire cell membrane and thus protect the skin better than other antioxidants Protect. Free radicals are rendered harmless on the inside of the skin and on the outside. The collagen scaffold and the elastic fibers in our skin layer are thus protected from the destructive effects.
What do organic sea buckthorn oil and blackberry leaf extract do?
The orange-red to yellow fruits of the sea buckthorn, from which the oil is extracted, are known for their high Vitamin C content and have been valued since ancient times for their wound-healing and anti-inflammatory effects. Its antioxidant effect even protects our skin from UV radiation and can reduce pigmentation spots. But beware: it is of course no substitute for daily sun cream! Blackberry leaf extract prevents sun-induced skin ageing and maintains the skin's elasticity by inhibiting the breakdown of collagen.
Our Vitamin C ampoules
Our Vitamin C ampoules contain 15% pure L-ascorbic acid, the natural form of the vitamin and not a derivative. They therefore provide your skin with the full active ingredient power of Vitamin C. The liquid active ingredient concentrate ensures an even complexion, helps to reduce pigmentation spots and pimple scars and supports the development of your skin's healthy protective barrier.
Who is Vitamin C ampoules suitable for?
Our Vitamin C ampoules are suitable for all skin types. Our ampoules mature skin are particularly effective against wrinkles, pigmentation spots and premature skin ageing. The ampoules help to better absorb nutrients and vitamins and store them in the skin. Thanks to the combination of active ingredients, the skin is better protected against harmful environmental influences and free radicals are neutralized. By stimulating cell activity and the formation of new collagen fibers, tired and sagging skin benefits in particular. However, if your skin is often somewhat sensitive, you should use a different composition of active ingredients.
What is Vitamin C and how does it work?
Vitamin C supports your skin with its dual action for smoother skin: it protects the skin from oxidative stress and stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis, which improves the elasticity of your skin and helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Highly concentrated Vitamin C promotes healthy and firm connective tissue through collagen synthesis and is also involved in the formation of elastic fibers. It can also help to lighten pigmentation spots and acne marks and thus also supports blemish prone skin in the healing process. As pure Vitamin C is very sensitive and unstable, formulations with pure Vitamin C often contain environmentally harmful silicones or microplastics. This is of course out of the question for us. Thanks to the airtight filling and direct consumption of the individual doses, our ampoules therefore do not require any additional additives.
What advantages does Vitamin C offer in skin care?
Vitamin C...
- has antioxidant properties
- stabilizes the collagen scaffold
- works anti-inflammatory, especially for blemished skin and acne
- Reduces pigmentation and sun spots
What do ferulic acid and magnolia extract do?
Ferulic acid, which is obtained from rice, belongs to the group of antioxidants and protects your skin from the damaging effects of free radicals. Together with Vitamin C , it forms a perfect team: it stabilizes the oxidation-sensitive L-ascorbic acid and increases its effect. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory and soothing effect, blemished and acne-prone skin in particular benefits. Magnolia extract helps to reduce redness and blemishes. The extract from the bark of the magnolia tree can also reduce pigmentation and age spots and gives your skin a fresh and even complexion.
4. how do I use ampoules ?
You can use ampoules two to three days a week, PM after cleanser . Shake the ampoule well and gently flick the tip with your fingers so that all the liquid collects in the lower part. To open, cover the neck of the ampoule with a cloth or cotton pad and carefully break open the jar. Then drip the entire Concentrate into the palm of your hand and spread it evenly over your face, neck and décolleté. However, avoid direct contact with your eyes. As the ampoule virtually replaces your serum , you can then continue with your usual skincare routine, e.g. with one of the hyaluronic creams.
To give the active ingredients enough space and time to develop, I advise you not to use an additional concentrated facial serum.
Note: When using the Vitamin C ampoule, you should not combine the following products: AHA peeling, BHA peeling , Niacinamide serum and the Retinal products. You can of course still use the products, just not together in a routine. So if you use the ampoules two evenings a week, you can use the other products on the other evenings and the Niacinamide serum for example AM on top.
