Bye Bye 2021 - Our review of the year

One thing is clear: the last year was pretty turbulent and somehow felt much shorter than 12 months. And yet quite a lot has happened. We'd like to take a look back at 2021 with you, see what we were able to achieve with your help, what we were able to do for you and what we were able to do for our environment.

FEBRUARY: Launch time

With the BHA peeling , the second fruit acid peeling enters our store and quickly becomes your favorite.

MARCH: Donation kick-off

Our "Be yourself" campaign for International Women's Day enabled us to make a donation of € 19,320 to Frauenhilfe München gGmbH. At the same time, the ground-breaking ceremony in Malawi marks the realization of our school construction project.

MAY: News in May & JUNGLÜCK birthday

We welcomed two new products to our store at the beginning of May: the Squalane and the Rosehip Seed Oil . And thanks to your help and a donation of €39,113 via Herzenswünsche e.V., we were able to fulfill many wishes for our JUNGLÜCK birthday. Our team is bigger than ever: 49 employees are working together to make a difference.

JUNE: World Oceans Day & German Brand Award

Together with the WDC, we sponsor porpoises in the North and Baltic Seas for World Oceans Day. We are awarded gold in the "Excellent Brands - Beauty & Care" category of the German Brand Award.

JULY: Making a difference for people & planet

Our Niacinamide serum complements our product family. With the Plastic Free Challenge, our team tried to do without plastic for a month. We collected school supplies for our school in Malawi. And with your help, we were able to hand over €10,771.79 to the victims of the flood disaster via Aktion Deutschland hilft at the end of the month.

AUGUST: More sustainability & more space

We move into our second office in Oberhaching and inaugurate our new laboratory. (Almost) the whole team comes together in Munich for the summer party - many see each other live for the first time. Our shipping boxes get a makeover: 100% plastic-free and climate-neutral. Just in time for the end of the month is the topping-out ceremony in Malawi, including our own well for unrestricted access to water.

SEPTEMBER: PETA-Approved and commitment to the climate

We are delighted to receive the "PETA Approved Vegan Global Animal Test Policy" certification. We cleaned up the neighborhood around our office in Obersendling for Clean Up Week. And, of course, we also took part in the global climate strike. Our advent calendar goes on pre-sale and gets great feedback straight away!

OCTOBER: We're going live!

NOVEMBER: Our month of happiness

Our new Cleansing Gel, the Spot cream and two face masks are here - what luck for your skin! And with our lucky week we can hand over €3,061 to Doctors Against Animal Experiments, collect waste from the Baltic Sea for a week with One Earth - One Ocean, provide 64 LGBTQIA+ people with basic food for a week, build a solar system for our school in Malawi.

DECEMBER: Time to relax & say thank you

For 2021, we would like to say THANK YOU for making such a difference with you: 1,294,337 trees were financed through Eden Reforestation Projects and with a total of 228.957,17 € in donations (as of 14.12.). Let us surprise you with what we will make of 2022!

That was it! A compact summary of our year 2021. We're already very excited to see what happens next year. But this much is already certain: we have a lot planned, our fingers are tingling and we're really looking forward to rolling up our sleeves again for you and our environment in 2022!
