Junglück has a new addition to the family!

Have you already discovered our new baby care range? We have developed a particularly mild, well-tolerated care range that is reduced to the essentials. With purely natural ingredients, where possible from controlled organic cultivation, without fragrances and preservatives, without palm oil and without microplastics. 

Even though the launch was two weeks ago, we are still incredibly excited, incredibly proud and thrilled that we can finally offer baby care. Why is Junglück now also taking care of the little ones? As a new dad, founder and managing director Benedikt immediately thought about what perfect Junglück baby care should look like. For anyone who wasn't at our live launch event on Instagram and Facebook, I interviewed the 'dad' of the new baby care range once again. He tells you all about the birth of the product line - and also reveals something about his new addition to the family.

Benedikt, why did you develop the baby care range?

Benedikt: I became a father to my little son last year. That was also the reason for me to look into the subject of baby care. I realized that there weren't really any products on the market that met my expectations of baby care. As we already have products for adults with very high quality standards, it made sense for me to develop a baby care range. With the same high standards of care as our existing products.

What is so special about our new baby care?

Benedikt: I looked at the products that exist on the market. They often contain fragrances or palm oil and the formulation is often not particularly sensitive to the skin. We have tried to improve all of this in our baby care products. Our care is free from fragrances, palm oil, irritating alcohols or PEGs (emulsifier polyethylene glycol) in the formulations.

What was particularly important during product development? 

Benedikt: It was very important to me to treat baby skin as well as possible Protect. That's why it was also a focus to formulate the products very mildly and to rely on tried and tested raw materials, such as Camomile or calendula, which we can source here from the region. This allows us to create a product that is very kind to the skin and gives baby's skin the care it needs.

What is particularly important to you when caring for your son's baby?

Benedikt: In principle, this is exactly what I have set as a requirement for my own product development. In other words, that it is very mild and very kind to the skin. That we use raw materials that come from the region, that are tried and tested, that are very natural.

In my son's case, he always has dry patches on his body. That's why the baby lotion and also Baby Oil are designed to treat such dry areas so well Moisturize that the skin can regenerate and recover on its own and you don't have the effect, as with some other cosmetics, that once you have started using Moisturize, you have to keep using Moisturize and the dryness of the skin tends to get worse as a result.

What does a typical "everyday care routine" look like for you?

Benedikt: I naturally developed the products that I also saw for the care of my son. We used Baby Oil a lot in the early days, shortly after the birth, to support the baby's skin with the oil in the first few weeks. However, it is also ideal later on to additionally soothe very dry areas Moisturize.

We use baby lotion very often. It should be used in the same way as body lotion for us adults. 

The baby balm is perfect for the colder days. It gives the skin additional protection, especially for the face in winter Protect. At Baby Bath, it is clear from the name what the product is useful for. We use it for the weekly "bath action" to moisturize the body Cleanse.

Immediately afterwards, we used the baby lotion again to give the body the care it had lost in the bath, so to speak.

Has your son already found his favorite product?

Benedikt: Yes, that's the Baby Bath. He loves his weekly bath very much. Because of the Baby Bath, but also because of his toys in the bath.
